In de jaren zeventig waren zij ‘The Beatles’ van die tijd, zoals The Sex Pistols ‘The Rolling Stones’ waren.
Met Sex And Drugs And Rock N Roll en Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick scoorde hij in 1978 twee top-10hits in Nederland.
Bandleden keerden terug in groepen als Fun Boy Three (zanger Terry Hall) en The Special A.K.A. (Dammers).
